The Under Mattress Bed Mat is a pressure activated pad that alerts staff when a resident leaves the bed. It is most useful for residents who are at risk of falling out of bed, or those who require assistance exiting from the bed. When positioned under the mattress, the pad senses when the pressure is alleviated – indicating that the resident has left the bed or is attempting to leave. Normal movement of the resident within the bed will not result in a ‘false’ alarm situation.
The malleable plastic surface of the pad ensures that it is water resistant and bleach cleanable. When the Under Mattress Bed Mat notices pressure alleviation, a high visibility reassurance light illuminates the ‘CANCEL’ button on the associated Call Button plate and the Call Button may also ‘beep’ periodically (if activated), providing reassurance to the user.

Compatibility : This product integrates with most Nurse Call Systems via an 6.35 plug.
