Tender Specifications: Supply and install the Shower Pull Cord where indicated on the drawings. The shower pull cord and associated handle will be ergonomically designed for ease of grip by residents to activate calls. The shower pull cord will be manufactured of vinyl ribbon, with the handle itself being manufactured of a polycarbonate plastic. The pull cord and handle will comply with IP68. The shower pull cord will include a snap point safety feature whereby any excess weight on the cord will cause a snap release to prevent injury should residents become entangled in the cord. The pull cord and handle will be: Activated through a momentary activation of the pull cord; Designed to provide a Snap point safety release for anti-strangulation / anti-ligature; Able to have its handle height adjusted; Constructed of vinyl, with a smooth finish; Free of Latex; Suitable for use in wet areas; Hard-wearing and washable by residential cleaning agents; The shower pull cord will be supplied with a variable length vinyl ribbon adjustable on site.
