Utilising long life 60mm high LED technology, NurseCallOnline’s 14 character Annunciator is easily readable from a distance. Messages are displayed in the industrys standard priority colours: Green, Yellow and Red. The non reflective screen properties eliminate glare. The Annunciator also boasts an integrated chime unit, which has a range of powerful alert tones that are both easily audible and pleasant sounding. The chime volume is simple to adjust. Combined colour coded display with a range of audio alerts, ensures that effective communication is available in all healthcare environments. An integral part of the NurseCallOnline Nurse Call System, the Annunciator is powered by the systems bus, thus providing full backup capabilities during power outages. Being both ceiling and wall mountable, the units are streamlined and ergonomically designed. They can be installed as a single unit or in pairs, allowing the creation of dual-sided units for multi directional access areas. The screens viewing angle is adjustable, providing added flexibility, and making it suitable for a wide range of installation applications. Tender Specifications: Supply and install the Annunciator Displays where indicated on the drawings. Indication of all calls shall be by a 60mm high, multi character, tri colour, alphanumeric display installed on corridor ceilings as indicated. Call information shall be colour coded, based upon the priority level of the call in a simple to understand format that emulates the Nurse Station. The time between the call being activated and the call being dissplayed on the annunciator display will be no more than two seconds. The Annunciator Displays shall be powered by the central system bus, ensuring full operation during power outages. The annunciator display will provide an audible indication of the highest call priority and scroll through all calls of the highest priority level at two second intervals. The call tone will indicate six priorities and be mutable and clearly distinguishable from either alerting systems such as telephones and fire alarms. It shall be possible at the Nurse Station to mute the call tone, by momentarily pressing the mute button. Each Nurse Call alarm will be routed to the appropriate Annunciator Display (or group of Annunciators), based upon a schedule, to enable Nurse Call alarms to be routed to different groups of Annunciator Displays, based upon the time of the day and day of the week of the call. The Annunciator Display will support day and night mode of operation, programmable on a per Annunciator Display basis, to adjust the level of the audible tones for the different priority levels. The Annunciator Displays shall satisfy the following requirements: Minimum of 14 character display, each at a minimum height of 60mm; Non-Reflective Screen, with a 180 degree viewing angle; Viewable from a minimum distance of 10 metres; Colour coded calls, representative of the priority level of the call; Integrated Chime, with adjustable volume; Ceiling or wall mountable; Single or double sided; White powder-coated finish. The Annunciator Displays shall satisfy the following requirements: Level 1 Code blue (Cardiac) Red; Level 2 Staff Duress Red; level 3 Emergency Red; Level 4 Fire Alarm Red; Level 5 Staff Assistance Yellow; Level 6 Wet Area Call Green; Level 7 Patient Call Green; Level 8 Equipment Failure Green.
